Conan Exiles Dalinsia Snowhunter

Conan Exiles Dalinsia Snowhunter Guide: Get Yourself a Top-Tier Cimmerian

A Conan Exiles Dalinsia Snowhunter guide references the best thrall in the game. Fighters and Archers are the two combat thralls in Conan, but Fighters are usually preferred when it comes to raw damage.

Dalinsia Snowhunter is a Fighter with the overall highest stats in Conan Exiles, which explains why she is so popular. Others, like the Cimmerian Berserker, come close, but he doesn’t even have a name like Dalinsia does, so she’s automatically a fan favorite.

Despite her name, Miss Snowhunter doesn’t live in the snow. She lives in the Tundra, which is near the snow. So perhaps she’s been looking for snow this whole time and it’s directly north of her. Poor Dalinsia.

Dalinsia Snowhunter Overview

  • Dalinsia Snowhunter is often considered the best Thrall in the game
  • Dalinsia is a Fighter thrall, so he is proficient with melee weapons
  • On Isle of Siptah, she’s called Dalinsia the Accursed
  • Dalinsia can spawn at Stargazer’s Crest and Mounds of the Dead
  • She can also spawn during the Cimmerian Purge

Dalinsia Snowhunter Stats

  • HP – 3106
  • Strength – 15
  • Vitality – 30
  • Melee Multiplier – 1.117
  • Ranged Multiplier – 1.032

Dalinsia Snowhunter makes a great thrall. As an NPC that you want to kill, her health is much lower, but she has decent armor. I recommend thralling her whenever possible, but taking her down may be necessary if you don’t have the means.

Luckily, she only has 645 HP. The problem is her armor, which is 470 as an NPC. This is perfect for those with armor penetration because you can take her down super quick with it.

Dalinsia Drops

  • Lightning Rod Guardian Head
  • Lotus Burner Guardian Torso
  • Radium Guardian Head
  • Star Metal Bow

Dalinsia has dozens of drops, but only a few of them are notable. The golem parts are quite rare and well worth seeking out Dalinsia to kill her even if you don’t thrall her. The bow is also a good drop because it’s one of the best in the game.

You can also grab good Cimmerian Fur gear, Star Metal tools, and other golem pieces. These can get you through the first half of the game, so don’t underestimate taking on T4 thralls even if you can’t break them yet.

Where to Find Dalinsia Snowhunter in Conan Exiles

Dalinsia Snowhunter only has two wild spawn locations in Conan Exiles. These two locations are quite close together, which I like because it makes sense that she’d hang out around the same spot.

She seems to live at Stargazer’s Crest but often travels to Mounds of the Dead. I always thought she was good friends with the Blacksmith there because he’s just a friendly guy.

Stargazer’s Crest

Stargazer’s Crest is located northeast of the Mounds of the Dead. You can find the small camp with just two NPCs in north C-11. There are two benches, a fire, and small sheds, so it’s easy to miss.

This is where I recommend getting Dalinsia because you only have to kill her one companion. But since the Witch Hunt hit Conan Exiles, this is also one of their spawns. In this case, the sorcerer Faiman Afthag will spawn here sometimes.

Mounds of the Dead

Dalinsia’s other spawn is Mounds of the Dead. So if she’s not at Stargazer’s Crest, head here. I’ve never personally seen Dalinsia here, but I have caught a Cimmerian Berserker who often spawns near her.

I saw him roaming the ankle-deep waters to the north and northeast corners of the Mounds of the Dead. I believe that they both have a large area they can cover here, but I would head to the center and then go north.

Mounds of the Dead is my favorite place to farm NPCs and drops. I always have good luck with drops from enemies, though I prefer the Forgotten Tribe to the Wights, who are rivals of mine.

The Purge

Taming thralls during a purge is super difficult. But if you can’t find her any other way, then you can draw her out by building your base in the Tundra, near Mounds of the Dead and her Stargazer’s Crest spawn.

The Dalinsia purge spawn is called Cimmerian Berserkers. She has an 8% chance of spawning during each wave, not favoring any wave in particular. So you need to be on the lookout to capture her.

How to Thrall Dalinsia Snowhunter

Dalinsia Snowhunter is one of the most difficult thralls to capture. You can’t go in with basic tools at level 10 and expect to take her home with you. Preparing is important when you’re hoping to capture a T4 beauty like her.

Of course, most of these tips and steps apply to most thrall captures, but I want to specify what you need for Dalinsia in particular. The gauge may be different for non-Fighters or basic T4 Fighters.

Gear Up

Before you engage Dalinsia, make sure you have the proper gear. If you’re under level 60, do the best you can by checking out guides like this. If you are level 60, go for the Godbreaker or Arena Champion set to ensure you have your best chance.

For a quick but sufficient set of early-game armor, I recommend farming Cimmerians in the Mounds of the Dead or Heirs of the North at New Asagarth. You can get armor way out of your league by doing this as soon as you can survive taking them down.

Clear Area

If you are capturing Dalinsia at Stargazer’s Crest, this consists of taking down her companion. But if you’re at Mounds of the Dead, you have to be careful not to draw aggro from the nearby Cimmerians. So before you engage, take a quick scan around her, leaving room for you to kite her.

Thankfully, if she happens to be in the water, you can easily catch her out. But if she somehow roams to the ledges, you will be in for trouble because there are dozens of Forgotten Tribe enemies up there.

Use Truncheon

You won’t get far with a basic truncheon against Dalinsia Snowhunter. I suggest at least a Steel Truncheon. If you can’t make one yet, then consider Szeth the Drunk’s truncheon at the Wine Cellar, which can drop from him upon death.

Or, an even easier find is the Reinforced Steel Truncheon which is almost as good. You can find it inside chests under the Black Galleon or near the Den. This is easy to run in, grab, and then run out, whereas you have to defeat Szeth for the other one.

Rope In and Wheel of Pain

If you ensure that you have a Wheel of Pain close to the location you rope Dalinsia in, then the exact bindings don’t matter too much. Of course, if you have Bindings of the Dead, you can take her across the map. Otherwise, I suggest Leather Bindings to ensure you don’t mess up. Fiber Bindings can work, but it’s a little risky.

As for the Wheel of Pain, a little trick I take part in is placing the Wheel of Pain where I knock out the thrall instead of taking the thrall to my base. This way, it’s super easy to take them back after they are done crafting.

Fighters With Similar Stats to Dalinsia Snowhunter

If you can’t find Dalinsia Snowhunter or want a different thrall for some reason, then there are a few other options that are almost as good. Archers are good too, but they don’t exactly compare to Dalinsia.

If you do want an archer, which is understandable if you’re a tank, then I suggest Dina, Master Huntress, or Freya, who both spawn in Heirs of the North territory. Freya is at her Hovel and Dina likes to roam the forests near the aqueduct.

Daicas the Sharp

  • HP – 2661
  • Strength – 15
  • Agility – 2
  • Vitality – 10
  • Grit – 3
  • Melee Multiplier – 1.117
  • Ranged Multiplier – 1.032

Daicas the Sharp is an excellent Fighter thrall found in the Well of Skelos. This is a dangerous area in general, so you need heat protection and good base armor to ensure you survive long enough to reach him. Alternatively, he spawns in the Votaries of Skelos Purge if you have your base at the volcano.

Out of all of the thralls I mentioned, I think this one is the least worth it. I only recommend getting him if you run onto him or if you already live in the volcano. Otherwise, it’s too much of a pain.

  • Grit – 5
  • Melee Multiplier – 0.978
  • Ranged Multiplier – 0.903

My favorite thing about Lian is that he’s always there, which makes up for his lower stats. He has a 100% spawn rate at Lian’s Watch and he drops Heart of the Nordheimer, which you can exchange at Hanuman’s Grotto.

To reach Lian’s Watch, head north to the Highlands at the west edge of G-10. You will see a tower that is similar to a watchtower or lighthouse and he will be near the fire below it, so it’s hard to miss.

RHTS

  • HP – 3030
  • Agility – 20
  • Vitality – 10
  • Grit – 15
  • Melee Multiplier – 1.117
  • Ranged Multiplier – 1.032

Relic Hunter Treasure Seekers roam in two different non-purge areas. Hostile RHTS can be found in the Unnamed City and friendly RHTS that can still be thralled live in Sepermeru, City of the Relic Hunters.

Both of these places are super dangerous, but if you try to thrall one RHTS at Sepermeru, you’ll have the entire city on you. These are some of the strongest NPCs in the game, so good luck with that.

Cimmerian Berserker

  • HP – 2884
  • Strength – 15
  • Vitality – 30
  • Melee Multiplier – 1.119
  • Ranged Multiplier – 1.039

Cimmerian Berserker can spawn at the Mounds of the Dead or Stargazer’s Crest. At Stargazer’s Crest, the spawn is straightforward, but at Mounds of the Dead, he can be tricky to find.

Sometimes, he roams the waters to the east, and other times, he is in the last stone circle. But if you can’t find him, it’s not because he isn’t there as he is always on the map, so go back to the spawns and scan again.

Don’t You Forget About Dalinsia’s Tribe

The most unforgettable Forgotten Tribe member, Dalinsia Snowhunter, has made so many players’ games much easier. Cimmerian Berserker and Dalinsia are the best investments for upping your game.

If you give them a good weapon and gear, they will be better than most players after they level. Just make sure that you don’t put too much on their plate before they are ready. Take it slow and have them fight weak enemies before slowly moving up the ladder.

I like to level them before I take them on any boss fight trips, and I never go through super populated areas with them until they have the best gear possible and are max level. Otherwise, all of your hard work to win Dalinsia’s heart will have been for nothing when she takes one too many Black Hand arrows to the knee.
